WITH the mega-bucks Indian Premier League  completed , we look at the players who have cost their team the most.

Deccan Chargers were the pre-tournament favourites with their sparkling batting line-up including the likes of Andrew Symonds.

But despite smashing his highest score of 117 not out, the Aussie all-rounder proved the biggest flop money-wise.

Symonds fetched $1,350,000 in the IPL auction, hitting 161 runs in four games at a staggering cost of $8,385 per run.

At the other end of the scale, Sanath Jayasuriya has proved the best value big name batsman, notching 514 runs for his auction price of $975,000.
